Who knew?

We had a good ole fashion regular doctors apt. today. Nothing too new. Heartbeat 155. Eric and I used the waiting for the doctor time simply to talk and catch up on life, who knew waiting for a doctor was good for something. It was great! I am really ready to be done having smells or news stories set me off. NEXT WEEK...we are supposed to find out boy or girl? I am ready to know.

Made Me!

Today I bought something at the grocery I have NEVER bought, but always wanted to. Nutty Bars! Those waffle wafers with peanut butter and covered in chocolate. I devoured one as I drove out of the parking lot. Can I please blame this on the baby on the way. I swear the box was talking to me in the store...SWEAR!

BIG ultrasound day

We had our ultra screen today. This is where they take multiple measurements of the baby and do blood work on me to determine the baby's health. My awareness it probably heighten due to the fact that I know the stats for having a baby at my age and I have had friends who have walked away from this screening with concern or worry in their heart. The baby was perfectly still for their measurements and then went on a flipping fest. So fun to watch especially when they switch to 4D. Heartbeat was 136. Renn was ALWAYS at 140. Have to wait a week for the results of the test.

First Glimpse

With Renn we didn't have our first ultrasound till he was 12 weeks. With this baby it was 9 weeks. It was fun to see and hear the heartbeat. I am anticipating the ultra screen I get at 12 weeks. It is amazing how much risk is added to the pregnancy due to my age. Always a slice of fear tucked away in my head. Sickness is in rare form. I can hardly make Renn anything to eat without having issues. UG!

We let the Bailey clan know that a baby was on the way over Saturday morning breakfast. Eric announced that he had gotten a job promotion and that we were moving to Australia. After we let that sink in for a bit we said just kidding but that Baby Bailey II was on the way. All were thrilled!
